We are seeking a Midâweight Graphic Designer to join our innovative and fastâpaced creative team. Under the mentorship of the Lead Graphic Designer, you'll work alongside experienced designers to produce compelling visual assets for pitches, marketing materials, live events, and internal projects. You will help shape the visual identity of brands across sectors like Retail, Hospitality, Brand Activations, Events, and Immersive Theatre, and will have the opportunity to influence the design direction from the ground up.

What will you do?
- Assist in interpreting creative briefs and contributing original design ideas that meet the project's vision and goals.
- Work across a variety of brand identities and campaigns, ensuring designs are onâtrend and visually striking, while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Support the creation of visual assets for pitches, presentations, and proposals that push creative boundaries.
- Assist with print design, from concept to production, ensuring accurate artwork delivery and suggesting impactful print materials.
- Adapt existing designs for various formats, ensuring consistency across different media types and optimising designs for maximum impact.
- Collaborate closely with creative, production, strategy, and account teams, ensuring design solutions support the wider creative vision.
- Confidently manage feedback and revisions, communicating clearly with internal teams.
- Help create digital and print collateral for Bearded Kitten's website and social media channels, bringing a fresh perspective to every project.
- Support with the maintenance of Bearded Kitten's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in design across all internal and external materials.
- Organise and maintain our asset library, ensuring resources like images and animations are appropriately categorised and easily accessible.
- Manage project files using Google Workspace, following file naming conventions and versioning protocols.
- Stay inspired and nurture your creativity by exploring new exhibitions, cultural events, and digital trends.
- Keep up with emerging design technologies, trends, and cultural happenings, helping the team stay ahead of industry shifts and influences.
- Take on additional design tasks and projects as needed, continuously growing your skills and knowledge within the company.
Who are we looking for?
Hard Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer ideally within an event or experiential agency or similar.
- Strong graphic design experience with a polished portfolio demonstrating conceptâled thinking and execution.
- Ability to interpret and execute brand guidelines.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Solid experience using Google Workspace (Slides, Docs) for presentations and collaborative workflows.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing across print, digital, social, and presentation decks.
- Confident handling artwork from concept through to artwork and onto print production.
- Bonus: Working knowledge of motion tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.

- Confident in articulating and justifying design decisions.
- Deep interest in culture, trends, experiential design, and the worlds of events, brand, and entertainment.
