We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineer or Site Supervisor interested in stepping into Building Services Management to join our team to provide effective support for the construction projects. This is a shared role between both our Guildford and Southampton offices and you will be required to travel between projects for both offices.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside Estimators and Construction (pre and post) delivery teams to ensure a thorough and analytical review of drawings and specifications to support and ensure adherence to customer needs, relevant standards and current best practice.
  • Working closely with the Health & Safety Managers to ensure the highest standards of SHEQ are maintained throughout the business.
  • Analysing contractors' best value and variations for accuracy and value.
  • Supporting and reviewing programme and progress across the business projects.
  • Supporting project commissioning through programme, coordination and production.
  • Providing a point of liaison for Building Services Business Partners/supply chain.

What you will bring:

  • Understanding the impact of building services decisions on the wider construction project and empowering staff to make the right decisions.
  • Presentation skills to internal and external partners including a customer focus to promote positive and accurate building services across our business.
  • A good understanding of building services from pre-con, through installation and commissioning.

Experience:

  • Minimum engineering qualification, HNC/HND or BSc in engineering in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • IEng or CEng, CIBSE membership.
  • Experience of in a similar role at management level.
