About the Role
They are seeking a dynamic Product Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering, product management, and the intricate world of insurance.
This role is ideal for an autonomous and product‑minded individual eager to take loosely defined ideas from concept through to design, build, and release of working software within their flagship MGA Connect platform.
You will be instrumental in leveraging cutting‑edge AI coding tools to accelerate development and designing robust multi‑tenant solutions on the Salesforce platform, directly impacting MGAs' daily operations with user‑centric functionality.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full lifecycle of product features from initial concept to deployment within the MGA Connect platform.
- Translate ambiguous business ideas into concrete technical specifications and working software solutions.
- Utilise AI coding tools and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and accelerate product delivery.
- Design and implement scalable, multi‑tenant solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform's capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure product development aligns with user needs and business objectives.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and architectural choices for features within your domain.
- Ship production‑ready code independently and contribute to a high‑quality codebase.
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of professional experience shipping production code and independently spinning up projects.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, initiating work without explicit, detailed requirements.
- Proven, hands‑on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Strong product‑minded approach, prioritising user functionality and business impact over abstract code elegance.
- Genuine curiosity and a keen interest in understanding the insurance business and its operational intricacies.
- Experience with the Salesforce platform or its APIs would be advantageous.
- Background in Insur Tech or B2B Saa S environments is a plus.
