The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with approximately 1–2 years of professional experience who is interested in applying economics, finance and quantitative analysis to complex real-world commercial problems.
You will contribute to live client projects from an early stage, working alongside experienced consultants and senior experts while developing your analytical, commercial and communication skills.
The role is particularly well suited to someone interested in economic consulting, disputes, litigation, arbitration, valuation or expert advisory work .
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed economic, financial and commercial analysis.
- Research companies, industries, markets and broader economic issues.
- Analyse financial information and complex datasets.
- Support business valuation, damages and loss quantification work.
- Contribute to high-value litigation and arbitration assignments.
- Assist with the preparation of analytical reports and presentations.
- Work closely with senior consultants and expert witnesses throughout engagements.
- Develop an understanding of different industries, businesses and economic issues.
- Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to project teams.
- Take ownership of research and analytical workstreams as your experience develops.
Requirements
- Graduate or candidate with approximately
1–2 years of professional experience .
- Degree in
Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or another quantitative/STEM discipline .
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with quantitative information and solving unfamiliar problems.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Commercial curiosity and an interest in understanding how businesses and industries operate.
- Proactive, intellectually curious and willing to learn.
