BEAR Scotland is a leading provider of road maintenance and management services, responsible for maintaining Scotland’s vital trunk road network across the North West of the country. We are seeking experienced, safety-conscious Roadworkers to join our established team based at our Perth depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general carriageway maintenance and repair works
- Install and manage traffic management systems, including signs, cones and barriers
- Lay, patch and remove road materials
- Undertake drainage, vegetation control and road furniture works
- Operate small plant, tools and company vehicles
- Respond to emergencies and participate in winter maintenance operations
- Work safely at all times to protect colleagues, road users and the public
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Experience in roadworks, highways maintenance or construction
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Standby Requirement
Applicants must be able to reach the Perth depot within 30 minutes when on standby (essential).
