It connects communities from Uig on the Isle of Skye to the historic cities of Perth and Stirling, offering a unique opportunity to work across a landscape that’s as diverse as it is inspiring.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing the pavement team to ensure scheme approvals meet delivery deadlines
  • Coordinating delivery of technical reports/studies to Transport Scotland
  • Liaising with Transport Scotland at regular technical workshops to discuss specific scheme challenges and solutions
  • Prioritising team workload to ensure programme dates are achieved

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant Civil Engineering degree
  • Professionally qualified or working towards professional qualification (IEng/CEng)
  • Knowledge of current design standards
  • Working knowledge of contract control and management systems
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to produce innovative solutions to engineering problems
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Full approved UK Driving license
