BEAR Scotland is a leading road maintenance and management service provider in Scotland, maintaining and improving Scottish Trunk Roads including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.
We have an exciting opportunity within BEAR Scotland to join us as Finance Services Assistant. This is a permanent post within our Financial Services Team working closely with the Finance and HR Teams. You will be based in our newly refurbished head-office in Perth, and report to the Financial Services Manager.
This role will provide Finance Support within BEAR Scotland, including:
- Invoice entry
- Coding and matching to GRNs
- Preparing payment runs
- Accruals
- Statement reconciliation
- Labour and Plant costing
- General enquiries
- Purchasing and ordering
- Assisting with time sheet processes as and when required
- Any other duties associated with the role
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong Numerical Skills
- IT Skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work alone and part of a team
- High attention to detail
