Experienced Vehicle Technician in Lincolnshire

*Job Summary* *Bear & Bee Garage, Grantham* *Full-time | Monday to Friday | No weekends* *Join the Team at Bear & Bee Garage* Bear & Bee Garage is looking for an *experienced Vehicle Technician* to join our team in Grantham. We are looking for a capable, experienced all round technician who takes pride in their work and is confident tackling everything from routine maintenance through to *larger mechanical repairs, diagnostics and fault finding*. This isn't a position where you'll spend every day carrying out basic servicing. We want someone with the experience and confidence to get stuck into more involved jobs, diagnose problems properly and see repairs through from start to finish. You'll be joining a friendly independent garage where quality workmanship matters and where you'll have the equipment and support needed to do the job properly. And importantly, it's *Monday to Friday with no weekends*. *What We're Looking For* Ideally, you'll be *Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair*, or hold an equivalent qualification, and have good experience working within a busy workshop. You'll be confident carrying out jobs including: * Cambelts and timing belt replacements * Clutches and flywheels * Brakes, suspension and steering * Servicing and general repairs * Mechanical and electrical fault finding * Vehicle diagnostics * Using diagnostic equipment, fault codes and live data * More involved mechanical repairs from diagnosis through to completion We're looking for someone who can *think for themselves*, rather than simply replacing parts. You should be equally comfortable carrying out a clutch or cambelt as you are investigating an engine management light, electrical problem or running fault. You should also have: * At least 3 years of workshop experience * A full UK driving licence * Good attention to detail * Pride in the quality of your workmanship * The ability to work independently when required * A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team An *MOT Tester qualification* would be an advantage but isn't essential. Training can be provided for the right person.
