Senior Accountant - Chartered Accountant

The Role

What we’re looking for: You’ll be an all-rounder comfortable handling standard compliance essentials—year-end accounts (companies, partnerships and sole traders), corporation tax, personal tax, VAT, payroll, etc.—with total accuracy. We’re also seeking someone who wants to offer more than just a tax return. We are launching advisory products to give clients real financial clarity, and we need an accountant ready to use data to provide meaningful advice. If you’re a compliance expert excited to help clients understand the story behind their numbers, you’ll fit right in.

Skills and Experience

To hit the ground running in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Status: A current Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA or ACCA) with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience.
• Practice Background: A minimum of 5 years in public practice, with deep understanding of UK small business (Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders).
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise with the Xero product suite (and ideally QuickBooks); tech-savvy and quick to adopt our proprietary tools.
• Compliance Core: Proven experience handling essentials: preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, VAT, Tax Returns, and Payroll.
