Beannchor Central Reservations is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Reservations Coordinator to join our growing team. As we continue to expand our portfolio across Belfast and Ireland, with the extension of Bullitt Belfast and the launch of our first property in Dublin, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and evolving hospitality group.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing reservations for two of our premier properties: The Merchant Hotel and Bullitt. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate booking management, and providing guests with a seamless reservation experience from enquiry through to confirmation.

About the Properties

  • The Merchant Hotel: A prestigious 5 AA Red Star property featuring 63 luxurious bedrooms.
  • Bullitt Hotel: An urban, city-centre property with 74 contemporary rooms.

Job Details

  • Rate of Pay: disclosed at interview
  • Positions Available: Full-Time 40 hours
  • Location: Our office is conveniently located on High Street, providing easy access to bus and train routes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Reservations: Oversee bedroom bookings and dining requests for The Merchant and Bullitt Hotels.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Maintain our high customer service standards while handling calls and emails.
  • Multi-tasking and Prioritisation: Efficiently manage tasks and prioritise work based on business needs.
  • Process Reservations: Handle reservations through various channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Process all customer requests with precision and attention to detail.
  • Stay Informed: Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities, room rates, and available packages.

What We’re Looking For

  • Customer Service Enthusiast: A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including experience with MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales Confidence: Comfortable upselling products and services.
  • Attention to Detail: Methodical approach with high attention to detail.
  • Listening Skills: Exceptional listening and understanding of customer needs.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in Hotels, Tourism, Travel Agencies, or an administrative role is advantageous.

Hours of Operation

  • Weekdays: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
  • Weekends: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Rotation: Typically, you’ll work 1 in 4 weekends, depending on business needs. Rota is issued 4 weeks at a time to allow for a work-life balance.
