Together they represent the very best of Belfast’s hospitality scene and we are looking for a dynamic Group Reservations Manager to lead the charge in driving group bookings and delivering unforgettable guest pre‑stay experiences across both brands.
Your Role
As Reservations Manager you will lead the Central Reservations Team and manage all group bedroom enquiries for both hotels. You will be the go‑to expert for reservations product knowledge, pricing and performance management, nurturing key client relationships and seizing new business opportunities. The role is all about driving revenue, energising your team and creating standout guest experiences whether it’s the timeless elegance of The Merchant or the urban edge of Bullitt, all with the backing of your skilled team and the Group Revenue Manager.
What You Will Do
- Lead the Central Reservations Team and Group Reservations Supervisor – coaching, mentoring and inspiring high performance.
- Own the group booking journey from enquiry to confirmation with fast follow‑ups, high‑impact proposals and strong conversion rates.
- Communicate booking trends and market data to guide pricing and distribution strategies.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Revenue and Marketing to ensure our hotels stay one step ahead of the competition.
- Build strong relationships with key clients – tour operators, corporate bookers and event organisers.
- Keep your team sharp with ongoing training, appraisals and support for development goals.
- Be the heartbeat of our Central Reservations Office – keeping standards high and energy higher.
What You Bring
- A passion for hospitality and a flair for leadership.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast‑paced hospitality / tourism setting (1 year at management level).
- A love of sales and the thrill of hitting targets.
- Confidence in managing a team and creating a culture of excellence.
- Impeccable communication skills – phone, email and in‑person.
- An analytical mindset paired with a genuine enthusiasm for outstanding guest service and building relationships.
- A can‑do attitude, a collaborative spirit and a genuine love for both luxury and lifestyle hospitality.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday: 8 am – 7 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 10 am – 6 pm
