Join our team and help keep our hotels, bars and restaurants looking their best! We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join the maintenance team at Beannchor, one of the largest hospitality groups in Northern Ireland. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in maintaining the high standards of our customer-service areas and back-of-house facilities through professional painting and decorating work.
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 32 per week (4 days)
Please note that this role will require the successful candidate to co-ordinate with the rest of our maintenance team, including another painter/decorator, to complete work across our portfolio of city centre venues, including Bullitt Hotel, The National, The Dirty Onion, Ulster Sports Club and The Merchant Hotel.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out painting, decorating, and minor repair tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and service areas
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint, wallpaper, and finishes to a high standard
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritise and schedule work efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Assist with other basic maintenance tasks when required
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 1 and 2
- Proven experience as a painter/decorator (at least 2 years), preferably in a hotel or commercial environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good knowledge of materials, tools, and painting techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Friendly, professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required

- NVQ Level 3
