About the role

As Head of Brand you\’ll shape our brand strategy, execute impactful brand marketing campaigns and be responsible for driving organic growth for the business. This role requires unwavering creativity, combined with a data-driven approach to ensure Beams is positioned as a trusted household name. You’ll be at the intersection of brand, performance marketing and community to seamlessly drive our company\’s mission and values at scale.

What you’ll be doing

  1. You’ll lead our brand marketing strategy and drive the evolution of our brand for the next growth phase.
  2. You’ll be focussed on our homeowners and contractors and have the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
  3. You’ll be our brand guardian, ensuring our messaging and visual identity is consistent across every customer touchpoint.
  4. You’ll nurture and fortify our relationships with homeowners and contractors, with a strong emphasis on building trust and fostering deep connections within our community.
  5. You’ll translate our business objectives into a unique marketing plan, creating an extensive brand calendar covering cultural events, seasonal moments, partnerships and collaborations.
  6. You’ll define our marketing channel mix and content strategy to ensure we reach our audiences with engaging content that drives conversion.
  7. You’ll use data and analytics for decision-making and measuring marketing effectiveness, as well as creating a culture of testing and iteration to drive growth.


What you’ll need

  1. A proven track record in driving growth for a startup, scaleup or fast growing company.
  2. You have a strong bias for action and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  3. You have deep knowledge of marketing channels, including: social media, press, advertising, referrals, CRM and SEO.
  4. You’re customer centric and have the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
  5. You’re proficient in analytics platforms and familiar with marketing automation tools.
  6. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and outstanding storytelling abilities.
  7. You possess strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind that\’s able to problem solve.
