Role Description
We are seeking diligent candidates for the full-time role of Gluing Minder. Based on-site at our St Ives facility, the Gluing Minder will be responsible for the setup, running, and maintenance of gluing machinery to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. The shift rotation for this role will be 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.
Key duties include:
- Monitoring production processes
- Conducting quality checks
- Troubleshooting issues
- Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to throughout operations
- Collaborating with production teams to achieve efficiency, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a gluing minder role is essential
- Technical skills in equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, particularly with gluing machinery
- Attention to detail for performing quality checks and ensuring that products meet customer specifications
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or production issues
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and excellent communication skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints to meet production deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and operational procedures
