ABOUT THE ROLE
As an IT Manager (Individual Contributor) at Beamery, you'll be joining the team that is the driving force behind the security, performance, and rock-solid reliability of all internal tech systems and infrastructure. Your mission? Empower Beamery's global team of 100+ across EMEA & NORAM to work securely, efficiently, and confidently, while crushing top-tier compliance standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
WHAT AN IT MANAGER DOES AT BEAMERY
- Strategic Management & Business Alignment
- Develop and drive a forward-thinking IT roadmap and own the annual IT budget.
- Align tech investments with business goals, delivering clear KPI reports that showcase IT's impact to leadership.
- Provide expert input on IT, security, and compliance for pre-sales (RFIs/RFPs).
- Own and rigorously test the Disaster Recovery plan to meet business-critical recovery targets (RTO & RPO).
- IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage and secure all corporate IT infrastructure: networks, cloud resources (IaaS/PaaS), and devices (laptops, mobiles).
- Oversee corporate software stack (SSO, MDM, DLP) and provide hands-on end-user support.
- Continuously find opportunities to automate and improve efficiency at scale.
- Asset & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee procurement, inventory, and lifecycle of all hardware and software assets.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to optimize performance and costs.
- Own the entire employee tech lifecycle, ensuring secure and smooth onboarding/offboarding.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 5+ years in senior IT roles (SaaS/tech preferred) with strong skills in IT strategy, budgeting, and KPI reporting.
- Proven leader of IT projects and vendor management, including contract negotiation and SLA enforcement.
- Expert troubleshooter passionate about ITSM and operational excellence, ready to support critical issues anytime.
- Knowledge of - ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2, GDPR frameworks.
- Master of endpoint management (MDM) across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Skilled in cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure) and SaaS apps (Atlassian, Zoom).
- Proficient in scripting, automation, and corporate networking (WiFi, firewalls, VPNs).
- A collaborative mindset, you're energized by team wins & open to diverse perspectives.
- Bias for action; you're proactive, resourceful, and not afraid to take initiative in a fast paced environment.
- You are Values driven, caring about working somewhere that aligns with your principles, and you bring empathy and integrity to everything you do.
We are looking for a contractor, or potentially a Fixed Term candidate, for this role at this time, and are open to discuss a future conversion to perm for the right candidate. We are interested in an immediate hire.
Given the nature of this role, a strong onsite presence is required- 5 days a week in our London office, located near Moorgate Station.
