A great opportunity to join a Big 4 team that leads on some of the UK's largest and most complex transactions, including significant international carve-outs and separations. The team is known for its variety of work and supportive environment and now seeks a VAT senior manager to enhance their UK and international transactions capability. This advisory role spans various business sectors and offers a technically interesting and personally rewarding opportunity.
You will be involved in:
- Advising companies, lenders and other stakeholders on the VAT implications of complex restructuring and transactional processes including carve outs and demergers;
- Liaising with HMRC on a wide range of technical and compliance queries;
- Responding to day-to-day VAT queries;
- Preparing VAT reports and other deliverables and advising on the submission of appropriate returns or other documentation to tax authorities;
- Supporting the business development activities of the team;
- Contributing to the technical development of the dedicated junior members of the indirect taxes team and wider team through design and delivery of training.

- Strong UK VAT technical skills;
- Strong emotional intelligence, communication, team playing and project management skills;
