DescriptionAn established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Customs Director to lead a small team of Customs specialists, working as part of a wider Indirect Tax practice. Working with large UK and international businesses, you will provide strategic Customs advice, lead client relationships, and help drive the growth of a successful and collaborative practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesBe market facing, leading business development and client relationship activities.
Advise large corporate clients on complex customs tax matters.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders and identify growth opportunities.
Lead proposals and support winning new business.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Collaborate across specialist teams to deliver client solutions.
To apply you will need to have significant Customs and Global Trade experience including current or very recent experience of operating at a senior level in a professional services firm. You will need a strong track record of client management, have a collaborative leadership style and be experienced in managing senior stakeholders. The role offers the chance to run a small team in a supportive environment with plenty of scope for progression and access to high profile clients with technically varied and interesting work.
