Overview
Are you passionate about supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities? Do you want to work in an organisation rated \βOutstanding\β by the CQC? Do you have relevant ABA and PBS experience? Are you a Registered Behaviour Technician?
We are currently recruiting for full time staff to work on established home and community-based programmes across London, including Brent, Haringey, and Camden. You will work as part of a team supporting young adults with primary diagnoses of autism and learning disabilities across North London with a focus on life skills and community participation. In order to be suitable for this position, you must already be a Registered Behaviour Technician [RBT] with at least 1.5 years of experience working in an ABA/PBS setting β this can include in a school, a centre, or within homes. Holding a clean UK drivers\β license is highly desirable.
We are a 7 day a week service β successful candidates should be available to work across both weekdays and weekends. You should be prepared to work up until 9.15PM for some of your sessions. Yes, our RBTs and even our BCBAs work unsociable hours β it\βs when the support is needed!

Duties
- To assist in the implementation of person centred programmes utilising Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support best practice
- To support service users by teaching functional skills, developing communication systems, enhancing social skills under a framework that provides choice and promotes empowerment.
- To assist the Senior Behaviour Support Therapist and ABA Consultant in creating and updating service user documents.
- To train new members of the team, including providing written and verbal feedback, via Behaviour Skills Training.
- To contribute towards report writing.
- To assist the Senior Behaviour Support Therapist and ABA Consultant in researching and organising activities for service users.
- To support individuals during times of crisis β e.g., behaviours of concern, providing support as per prescribed Behaviour Support Plan strategies and protocols.
- To assist service user with self-help skills including personal care and hygiene needs (e.g., toileting, nappy changing, feeding, bathing, nail cutting, and medication)
- To monitor and take accurate data daily as per service users\β targets
- To model best practice and professionalism at all times
- To attend mandatory trainings, team meetings and self-directed e-learning modules
- To promote safeguarding and wellbeing for service user to the highest standard
- To implement restrictive techniques per service users positive handling plan as required
- Flexibility to support service user during evenings and weekends
- Other duties as required by your manager
Required qualifications and experience
- 1.5 years of applied experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and/or autism in an ABA/PBS setting
- Registered Behaviour Technician [RBT]
- Experience of supporting individuals through periods of dysregulation, including episodes of behaviours of concern.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- Experience of working in a Social Care setting regulated by the CQC that specialises in ABA/PBS support.
- Clean drivers\β licence
- 2+ years of applied experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and/or autism in an ABA/PBS setting
- Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis
IND-BST-BT
- Full-time positions are available, paid at an hourly rate of Β£13.15-Β£14.25 depending on qualifications and experience, Immediate salary for full-time staff from Β£25,642- Β£27,787 based on 37.5 hour working week β overtime hours available. You should have availability to work across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Full training provided.
