We’re looking for Senior (and above) software engineers with a product-mindset to join our product teams to help build the future of Beam with the right technologies. We want engineers who want to take responsibility for the product they are building and take part in every part of the product creation. One is already leveraging AI extensively – we are one of the first EU companies to be using OpenAI in their EU cluster – and the other we are looking to level up and bring into the future with AI to help our services team with their work. Help build our technology for the future – be it infrastructure or front-end. Work with product, design, commercial and analytics to figure out what new features to build within our product Building internal tools – for our team to help as many people as efficiently as possible. Using the latest generative AI tooling to empower our caseworkers to focus on what matters, helping those in need. You will have a high degree of autonomy working with other exceptional and like-minded engineers and product people You will see your features used by people who really need them – and see the amazing 5-star feedback we get in return for building these critical features You are a product engineer at heart, with experience spanning the full stack — from backend and infrastructure to frontend. Alternatively, you may specialise more in either backend or frontend development, either way, we\’d love to meet you! At Beam we\’re open to Engineers from any language or technology background, as long as you have the appetite and desire to pick up new skills, that\’s the kind of person who thrives in our environment. You don\’t need experience of working with these technologies, but currently we use the latest Ruby on Rails, Phlex, Tailwind and Sanity.We\’re building a cutting-edge AI product, with big ambitions, so if you love to learn and get stuck into working with OpenAI & Claude for LLM interfacing, then look no further.
