About The Role
We are looking for a Prompt Engineer to be part of the launch team for Beam's first suite of AI products. Reporting to the Prompt Engineering Lead, you will support underserved frontline workers, like social workers, with the latest technologies. In this role, you will work closely with practitioners to deeply understand their needs and translate their insights into AI-powered templates that are intuitive, high-quality and tailored to their workflows.
- Engaging with practitioners to understand their needs: You will meet with frontline workers (social workers, healthcare professionals, etc) to understand their workflows, priorities and what they need from their Magic Notes summary, translating these insights into AI templates.
- Creating and testing prompts: Developing new prompts and iteratively improving existing ones using feedback from users, internal reviews and performance metrics.
- Collaborating cross-functionally: Working closely with product managers, engineers, customer success and end-users to develop new features and ensure templates meet customer needs.
- Ensuring data privacy and security: Paying close attention to data privacy and security, threading these considerations throughout your work.
- Documenting and sharing learnings: Capturing insights and best practices to improve processes and share knowledge across the team.
- Innovating continuously: Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and LLMs to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our templates.
You will have:
