The role involves carrying your own caseload of participants and supporting them end to end, from first conversation to sustained employment.

What you'll do:

  • Support a caseload of participants, with caseload size guided by IPS fidelity standards so you can give each person the time they need.
  • Work to the principle of zero exclusion, supporting anyone who wants to work regardless of background or circumstance.
  • Begin rapid job search based on each participant's preferences, strengths and goals rather than a fixed programme.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers, matching roles to people and negotiating opportunities.
  • Provide individualised in-work support to help participants settle and stay in their jobs.
  • Work closely with health teams, local authority colleagues and partners across the voluntary and community sector to support people in a joined-up way.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting people facing significant barriers, ideally in employment, housing, health or a related frontline setting.
  • A genuine belief that anyone can work with the right support, and the persistence to make it happen.
  • Confidence building relationships across very different audiences, from a participant having a hard week to an employer you are asking to take a chance.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Familiarity with IPS or a willingness to learn the model and work to fidelity.
