A role which bridges production, enticing innovation and memorable experiences, bringing to life our gin making through exciting events at our Visitor Centre as well as having a hand in determining the future innovation on the brand. A pivotal time to impact the future of the Sipsmith Distillery, working in partnership with the Global Brand Team and directly with the founders of Sipsmith. This role will be adaptable and provide variety managing events and experiences both inside our Distillery in Chiswick as well as external events including management of our official Wimbledon partnership activation; all supported by the Global Brand Marketing team. This role is responsible for delivering a world-class premium brand experience that will enhance brand image and deliver value to the business, leaving guests with a deep emotional connection to the Sipsmith brand. This role will be responsible for executing events and experiences within the distillery, including tours and customer events as well as hosting private & corporate events and supporting the wider Sipsmith Brand House in achieving its goals around the iconic Brand home, the Sipsmith Distillery. This role will also be responsible for delivering exemplary external experiences at Wimbledon and through our festival program. Role Responsibilities Distillery Tours & Corporate Hire Own, develop and lead your team (2 x direct reports) to deliver the Sipsmith Distillery Tour strategy with the goal of delivering a commercially successful, world-class premium brand experience. Coordinate an effective training programme for Tour Hosts & Helpers to ensure all tours are properly staffed within budget guardrails. Partner with the Customer Service Executive & Receptionist to ensure all tours are delivered perfectly, on time and maximise revenue driving activities. Manage private & seasonal distillery experiences; ensuring bespoke and seasonal experiences deliver to the same exacting standards as all other Sipsmith Brand Experiences. Ensure effective hosting of all corporate hire events to deliver on client goals while in line with the Sipsmith Brand Experience. Be the key point of contact for our Wimbledon partnership and execution on site. Oversee key-holding responsibility for Sipsmith Distillery to ensure site closure (2 x direct reports will rotate key-holding duties) and act as back-up key-holder to cover sickness, holiday & absences as required. Marketing Support Ensure the effective marketing of Distillery Tours, Events & Experience through multiple platforms, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to promote our unique Distillery experience. Support the Sipsmith Global Brand House as required in hosting and delivering experiences for internal and external stakeholders and VIPs. Work collaboratively with UK & International Suntory Global Spirits teams to effectively coordinate and manage a diverse range of visitors to the Distillery, recommending relevant experiences as needed. Work with the Global Brand House on implementing the on-site Wimbledon execution and festivals program. Brief and manage external agency partners and suppliers to achieve planned objectives and deliverables within agreed timescale and budget. Qualifications Experience of coordinating and managing internal tour or event programmes, preferably within a UK visitor attraction, Distillery or Brewery. Team management/leadership experience and an understanding of how to lead and manage small teams. Experience of designing & delivering activation experiences with third party external events. Strong customer service skills, with a flair for relationships and guest satisfaction. Experience of marketing and an understanding of the role of experiences in achieving brand goals and marketing metrics (brand health, equity, meaningfulness etc.). Experience or training in a similar role would be an advantage. Supremely organised and able to manage time effectively with a huge amount of initiative. A positive, optimistic and can-do, problem-solving attitude. Positively proactive in dealing with visitors, customers and contractors on an individual basis. A highly personable team player who is ready to get stuck in and is always up for a challenge, but is equally happy working by themselves.
