What You’ll Be Doing:You’ll provide HR support to a broad range of SME clients across the UK, acting as a trusted first point of contact for all things HR. Every day brings something different, and you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload confidently.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:- Offering practical, solutions-focused HR advice to a busy portfolio of clients.
- Managing a wide range of ER matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, sickness, and more.
- Handling overlapping processes with ease — from supporting a restructure to running a grievance.
- Drafting and reviewing key HR documentation such as policies, contracts, and handbooks.
- Guiding clients compassionately through sensitive change processes.
- Building strong, trusted relationships through calm, clear communication.
- Staying organised in a remote-working environment with minimal micromanagement.
- Contributing to a friendly, collaborative team who genuinely support one another.
You’re someone who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. You’re values-driven, reliable, and motivated by doing things the right way. Quality matters to you — and so does continuous improvement.
You’ll ideally bring:- Experience working within an HR environment (essential)
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards (ideal)
- Excellent communication skills and total confidentiality
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in healthcare, security or manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
