About the role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands‑on and commercially focused Finance Manager position with real scope to grow. You will take ownership of the finance function in a standalone capacity, providing both financial control and strategic insight to support business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts
- Ownership of cashflow forecasting and budgeting
- Full responsibility for P&L and balance sheet
- Managing accounts to trial balance
- Producing month‑end accounts
- Handling VAT returns
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Supporting wider business functions with financial insight and problem‑solving
About you
- Strong experience in bookkeeping to trial balance
- Proven ability to manage P&L and balance sheet
- Experience producing management accounts, budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Comfortable working in a standalone role with autonomy
- Knowledge of Xero
