Liverpool City Centre Part-Time – 3 full days or reduced hours each day Monday-Friday £ full time salary An established and stable accountancy practice based in Liverpool city centre is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys working with a variety of SME and sole trader clients. We are also open to considering candidates moving from industry into practice, provided they have strong all-round transactional finance experience and are keen to learn. The Role You will support a varied portfolio of clients with duties including: Bookkeeping to trial balance Bank reconciliations Purchase and sales ledger Payroll support (training can be provided) VAT returns (training can be provided) General accounts administration About You We are looking for someone who: Ideally holds or is working towards an AAT qualification Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment OR has strong industry finance experience and is looking to move into practice Has experience using Xero and Sage QuickBooks experience would be advantageous Has a good working knowledge of Excel Is organ...
