We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed teaching assistant with pastoral responsibilities, who will also serve as Deputy Year Leader for Year 8. This combined role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on both the academic and personal development of our students.
Responsibilities
- Support the Class Teacher in delivering high‑quality learning experiences, contributing to the progress, welfare and overall development of students.
- Work directly with individuals and small groups, including those requiring specialist support.
- Deliver targeted interventions outside the classroom, depending on strengths and expertise.
- Take on key pastoral responsibilities as Deputy Year Leader for Year 8, working closely with the Year Leader to promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and achievement.
- Provide tailored support to students and families and help create a positive, inclusive and nurturing school culture.
