Overview
In this role you contribute to Clearwater’s Professional Services by shaping change and advisory projects for steady-state clients. You work across Investment Accounting, General Ledger, Client Reporting and Derivatives & Alternatives to deliver scalable, value-added solutions. You collaborate with Client Services, Delivery and R&D to streamline change management and accelerate delivery timelines. Your expertise helps clients optimize their accounting and reporting processes while expanding Clearwater’s product offering. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with measurable impact on project success and time-to-value.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for value-added professional services with existing steady-state clients in collaboration with Client Services and leadership
- Provide hands-on expertise in accounting, compliance, risk and performance reporting with best-practice solutions
- Lead requirements analysis and solution design considering complexity and scale
- Strategize with client services, product management and development to improve change management and establish scalable processes
- Serve as trusted client advocate and advisor
Key requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in finance/accounting or related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- CFA or CPA is desirable
- Proven experience in Client Servicing and/or Onboarding teams
- Advanced experience with General Ledger systems and period-end close processes
- Advanced knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures
- Securities or financial markets experience, especially with alternative assets
- Knowledge of CW platform data migration processes – inbound/outbound feeds, cost basis file load
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
