The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.

The Beacon Primary Pupil Referral Unit is a ten place setting situated in Redditch, Worcestershire. It is a maintained school and serves both the Redditch and Bromsgrove area. It supports pupils who are at risk of, or are permanently excluded. The Beacon also has an Outreach Team who work with mainstream schools.

An amazing opportunity has arisen to appoint a new Headteacher. The Governors wish to welcome applicants who have extensive experience of working with vulnerable pupils. If you have a passion to lead an Alternative Provision as a Headteacher by inspiring and motivating vulnerable pupils to thrive, to re-engage with learning and to reach their full potential then this could be the job for you.
