We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to be part of a team of care coordinators helping to support patients in receiving the appropriate care. Beacon Medical is a GP surgery in Cleethorpes with a patient list of 13,000 patients. The practice is a friendly and supportive environment and we are looking for someone who is a team player to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact and representative for the practice either by telephone or in person.
- Liaise with all groups including patients, trade people, pharmacies, clinical staff, and outside providers.
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries, and directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and giving instructions.
- Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring logbooks.
- Book appointments and signpost patients to the correct services to enable self-care, over the phone and face-to-face at the reception desk.
- Support the practice’s overall mission of providing professional, accessible, high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services that inspire confidence in patients and the community.
