We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly and forward-thinking general practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive primary care environment. You will work autonomously as well as collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
Main duties of the job
- Provide autonomous clinical care, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Prescribe independently in line with clinical guidelines and practice protocols
- Manage both acute presentations and long-term conditions
- Triage patients appropriately and prioritise clinical need
- Deliver health promotion and preventative care advice
- Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service development
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
