- An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Finance Lawyer (3–7 PQE) to join the legal team of a fast-growing international energy business on an initial 3-month contract
, with potential for extension.
Working as part of a collaborative in-house legal team, you'll support the business on a broad range of financing transactions, partnering closely with commercial and business stakeholders on strategically important matters.
Advising on project finance, structured finance and derivatives transactions, together with related financing arrangements.
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of finance documentation, including facility agreements, security documents, derivatives documentation (including ISDA documentation) and other structured finance agreements.
Supporting commercial teams on the legal aspects of financing structures, risk allocation and transaction execution.
Working closely with external counsel where required on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
Providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders across the business.
Assisting with wider commercial, banking and finance legal matters as needed, offering the opportunity to broaden your experience across the legal function.
3–7 years' PQE gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team.
~ Strong experience in project finance, structured finance, or banking/ finance transactions.
~ Initial 3-month contract with a genuine possibility of extension.
