A high-growth technology organisation is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support its commercial, product and operational functions on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible. This is a fully remote position for candidates based in the UK who are comfortable working in an international, fast-moving and innovation-driven environment.

Role Summary
The Legal Counsel will be a central business partner, taking ownership of a broad commercial contracting portfolio, advising stakeholders on legal and operational risk, and supporting day-to-day matters across the company. You will help streamline legal processes, build scalable documentation and ensure the organisation meets relevant regulatory requirements as it continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service contracts, technology licensing, SaaS terms, consultancy agreements, NDAs and procurement documentation.
- Advise internal teams on legal risk, contract obligations and practical commercial implications while aligning with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and refine contracting templates, playbooks and internal legal processes to enhance efficiency and reduce friction in deal cycles.
- Provide guidance on regulatory issues relevant to digital services and data-driven technology, including data protection, IP, and compliance considerations.
- Support the contract lifecycle from initial request through signature, storage, renewal and termination.
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams, product functions, leadership and external counsel as needed.
- Maintain an organised system for tracking contractual commitments, operational risk areas and upcoming regulatory developments.
