Beacon House is seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our nurse‑led clinic supporting people experiencing homelessness and severe social exclusion. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred healthcare in a trauma‑informed, non‑judgemental environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support Guests with complex physical health needs, health inequalities, and barriers to accessing mainstream healthcare.
Main duties of the job- Deliver safe, effective, and evidence‑based nursing care within the nurse‑led clinic
- Undertake clinical assessments, observations, wound care, and health checks
- Support long‑term condition management (e.g. respiratory disease, cardiovascular risk, infections)
- Administer vaccinations and medicines in line with PGDs and local protocols
- Provide smoking cessation and health promotion interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using SystmOne
- Identify safeguarding concerns and elevate appropriately
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, outreach teams, housing providers, and voluntary agencies
- Support engagement of guests who may be anxious, disengaged, or distrustful of services
- Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement
- Maintain professional standards in line with the NMC Code of Conduct
