An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to join the Beacon Fostering Limited team within the Social Work Department. We are looking for a passionate Team Manager to join our team in Manchester. You’ll share our commitment to provide a high-quality service to achieve positive outcomes for our children/young people.
Responsibilities
- To manage and allocate the work, and monitor the performance, of the social work team in support of Beacon’s objectives and priorities.
- To ensure a clear and consistent focus on safeguarding of children and young people.
- To ensure the supervision and support of supervising social workers, trainee social workers and other social work support staff, as required.
- To participate in the advertisement, recruitment and selection of social work staff.
- To be willing and able to work flexible hours that will involve some evenings and/or weekends.

Requirements
- Social Work England Registration.
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
- 5 years post qualifying experience of Statutory childcare work including child protection.
- Supervisory Experience at least two years.
