Beacon Foods are recruiting for a new Despatch Operative to join our team.
Hours: 40 per week
Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 (weekly rotation, week of each)
Duties:
- To carry out processing, production and packing tasks in line with customer requirements.
- Assist with any hygiene tasks as required to maintain a clean and safe working environment in despatch
- To comply with food safety rules and regulations
- Amending and maintaining despatch paperwork/documentation.
- Able to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Communication and problem-solving skills (between various departments)
- Computer literate (Excel, word etc)
- Picking and packing orders to achieve daily plan
- A forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
