Responsibilities:

  • Sell sponsorship packages for our mining events and work closely with the Event Management to ensure that our events are successful and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize sales and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on growing sales revenue and securing repeat business.
  • Create and present compelling sponsorship packages to potential clients, tailored to their specific needs and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the event management team to ensure the success of our mining events, including developing and executing marketing strategies, managing sponsor expectations, and providing on-site support during events.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our events, and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the mining industry.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities using a CRM system.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with experience in lead generation, qualification, and closing deals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally.
