The work of the Board of Management is vital to the success of Beacon in fulfilling its purpose to create lasting change you can see, through affordable homes, sustainable neighbourhoods, and vibrant town and city centres.
Beacon's unitary board and committees have ultimate responsibility for the leadership and governance of Beacon Cymru Group, along with its subsidiary Pennant Homes. The Board operates under the leadership of its Chair and works in partnership with the Chief Executive and Executive team to set the strategic direction. This includes reviewing performance, ensuring risk is managed effectively, and fulfilling statutory and legal obligations, to ultimately ensure residents are provided with safe homes and the best possible services.
The Board is supported by three subcommittees:
- Audit and Risk
- Homes, Investment and Sustainability
- Integration, Transformation and Resources
All board members share the same legal status and have equal responsibility for ensuring that the Board fulfils its collective role. As a Board Member, you will be an ambassador and champion for Beacon, and you will play your part in ensuring great leadership and governance to realise the Group's vision and meet its business objectives.
