At The Coastguard, we pride ourselves on offering warm hospitality, great food, and a friendly, supportive atmosphere. As the closest pub to France, we’re a well-loved destination for locals and visitors alike—especially when the sun is shining!

We’re currently looking for a part-time Server to join our front-of-house team for summer 2026. The role is for around 20 hours per week, usually spread over 4 days, and we can offer flexibility with scheduling to suit your lifestyle; however, a mixture of availability during weekday daytimes, evenings and weekends would be necessary.

What we’re looking for:

  • A friendly, confident person who enjoys engaging with guests and providing excellent service.
  • Someone reliable, organised, and with a good eye for detail.
  • Previous hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential – full training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working as part of a team.
