I’m currently working with a highly regarded firm who are looking to appoint a MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor into their established team in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role and is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Opportunity

This position offers exposure to a broad range of rural work, combining professional advice, client relationship management, and project involvement. You’ll be joining a growing rural team where you will play a key role in both service delivery and future growth. The role would suit someone who is confident working independently, while also enjoying collaboration across teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing strong relationships with a diverse client base
  • Advising on agricultural tenancies, land use, and wider rural property matters
  • Delivering high-quality valuations
  • Supporting clients on compulsory purchase, utilities, and compensation matters
  • Providing guidance on rural planning and development projects
  • Assisting with infrastructure and land-based schemes
  • Working alongside the Land Agency team on farm agency instructions

About You

  • MRICS qualified (essential)
  • CAAV qualified (preferred, but not essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge across rural property disciplines
  • A confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to produce clear, professional reports
  • Full UK driving licence
