Aberdeen Beach Baker is working with Galbraith, a highly regarded rural property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Surveyor to join its Aberdeen office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRICS Rural Surveyor who enjoys a diverse workload across rural agency, valuations and professional consultancy and is looking to take on a prominent position within an established team. You will play a key role in the continued growth and development of the rural service offering.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad range of rural professional services, including:
- Rural agency and transactional work
- RICS-compliant valuations for secured lending, tax planning, sales and lettings
- Farm and estate sales
- Rural property management advice
- Diversification projects
- Wayleaves, sporting rights and access negotiations
- General rural consultancy service
You'll work closely with colleagues across the wider business while also providing guidance and support to more junior members of the team.
About You
I'm keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate both rural agency experience and valuation expertise. Ideally, you'll have:
- MRICS qualification
- RICS Registered Valuer status
- Proven experience within rural property
- Strong agency and transactional experience
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload independently
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues
- CAAV qualification (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
