Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on behalf of a well-established property consultancy seeking an experienced Chartered Valuation Surveyor to join its commercial valuation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Surveyor or Associate looking for greater responsibility, strong earning potential and a clear route for progression, while remaining actively involved in fee-earning valuation work.
Working closely with senior management, you will undertake a varied range of commercial valuation instructions while developing client relationships and playing an important role in the continued growth of the valuation service.
The Opportunity
- Undertake commercial property valuations and development appraisals across a range of asset classes.
- Deliver valuations for loan security, acquisition, financial reporting and other professional purposes.
- Manage instructions from initial enquiry and quotation through to inspection, reporting and completion.
- Work directly with lenders, professional contacts and established clients.
- Manage a varied workload while maintaining high technical and professional standards.
- Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for new instructions.
- Support and mentor graduates and APC candidates within the team.
- Play a growing role in the development of the valuation service.

About You
- RICS Registered Valuer.
- Proven commercial property valuation experience.
- Experience undertaking valuations for loan security and other professional purposes.
- Strong understanding of Red Book requirements and valuation methodology.
- Comfortable managing valuation instructions independently from commencement through to completion.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Commercially minded, organised and self-motivated.
- Full UK driving licence.
