This is a senior opportunity to take ownership of a high‑quality, income‑producing commercial (retail shopping centres and retail parks) property portfolio, with exposure to institutional‑grade clients and responsibility for client relationships, team leadership, and service delivery.
The Opportunity
The role offers a broad and influential remit within a collaborative commercial property team, managing assets across retail, leisure, office, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in both client servicing and team development, with strong scope for progression.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day‑to‑day operation of a diverse commercial property portfolio
- Acting as a primary client contact, building trusted long‑term relationships
- Leading on service charge budgeting, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Producing detailed client reports on a quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc basis
- Ensuring rental income, tenant arrears, and other income streams are managed accurately
- Overseeing compliance with lease obligations and common service provision
- Supervising and mentoring surveyors, graduates, and on‑site teams
- Undertaking and arranging property inspections
- Advising clients on value enhancement initiatives, asset strategies, and lease events
- Supporting clients with acquisitions, disposals, and tenant applications (assignments, subletting, alterations)
- Identifying opportunities to cross‑sell wider professional services
What We’re Looking For
- MRICS qualified (preferred)
- Significant experience in commercial property management
- Strong exposure to retail and leisure portfolios alongside wider commercial assets
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships with confidence and gravitas
- Experience leading or mentoring teams
- A proactive, commercially minded, and solutions‑focused approach
