We are working with a well-established and highly regarded rural property consultancy to recruit an experienced Chartered Rural Surveyor. This opportunity has arisen due to increased workload across a growing client portfolio, making it an excellent time to join a busy and expanding team.

This is a broad and flexible role offering a mix of Estate Management and professional consultancy work, depending on your experience and interests. The position will involve managing a portfolio of smaller private estates across Shropshire, Cheshire and/or Mid Wales, alongside the opportunity to undertake a range of professional instructions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day rural estate management
  • Landlord & tenant matters
  • Property and asset management
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships

In addition, there is scope to be involved in:

  • Rural valuations (including lender work)
  • Compulsory Purchase (CPO)
  • Renewable energy and diversification projects

The role is ideally full-time, with a healthy balance between site visits and office working.

We are keen to speak with surveyors who are commercially aware, client-focused and comfortable working across a varied rural portfolio.

Key requirements:

  • MRICS/FRICS qualified (or close to qualification)
  • Experience in estate management and/or rural professional work
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach
  • Full UK driving licence
