Senior Surveyor / Associate - Hotels & Leisure Valuation
London | £70,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected property consultancy that is looking to strengthen its specialist Hotels & Leisure Valuation team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Registered Valuer with experience in hotel and leisure assets to join a well-established valuation practice and work with a broad range of clients including lenders, investors, banks, funds and property companies.
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of valuation instructions across the UK while benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team.
The Role
Working within a specialist valuation team, you will be responsible for providing market-leading valuation advice across a wide range of hotel and leisure assets, including:
- Budget and limited-service hotels
- Mid-market and full-service hotels
- Luxury and boutique hotels
- Aparthotels and extended-stay accommodation
- Other trade-related leisure assets
Instructions are likely to include:
- Loan security valuations
- Investment valuations
- Portfolio valuations
- Fund valuations
- Financial reporting
- Development appraisals
- Advisory and consultancy assignments
This role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to play an important part in the continued growth of a successful specialist practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake hotel and leisure valuations across the UK.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
- Deliver valuation advice to lenders, investors, funds and institutional clients.
- Analyse trading performance and operational data to support valuation conclusions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Assist with business development initiatives and client presentations.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders on a variety of valuation instructions.
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
About You
To be considered, you are likely to possess:
- MRICS qualification.
- Registration under the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme.
- Experience undertaking hotel and leisure valuations.
- Strong understanding of trade-related valuation methodologies.
- Experience reporting to lenders, investors and financial institutions.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing abilities.
- The ambition to progress your career within a leading specialist valuation practice.
