Beach Baker is working with a well‑established property consultancy to recruit a Surveyor, Senior Surveyor or Associate into their small and highly regarded Commercial Property team. The role offers exposure to all aspects of commercial property with a strong rural focus, including agency, property management, landlord & tenant matters, valuations, rating, and development work. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial surveyor with some commercial experience, to join a supportive practice with clear career progression and a genuinely varied workload.

Role Highlights

  • Commercial property management including inspections, repairs and maintenance, tenant and contractor liaison, record keeping, and rent arrears
  • Commercial sales and lettings, including viewings and preparation of short‑term leases and licences
  • Rent reviews, lease renewals, and general landlord & tenant advice
  • Involvement in valuations, rating, and development work (depending on experience)
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Participation in networking and business development activities

Candidate Profile

  • MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification ideally
  • Background in Commercial Property or some commercial exposure
  • Good understanding of commercial property agency and management
  • High standards of work with the ability to manage deadlines
  • A strong team player with the initiative to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
  • Strong IT skills
