Beach Baker is exclusively partnering with a leading consultancy to recruit a Development Surveyor in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Development & Planning team, which is part of a national Development and Strategic Advisory business. The team advises clients in both the public and private sectors on a variety of strategic projects, with a strong focus on regeneration initiatives in a mixed-use development context. These projects include asset repurposing, brownfield development, disposals, urban regeneration, town centre development, urban extensions, new garden settlements, and infrastructure-led development. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the team's work across the South West and South Wales while also contributing to projects in the Midlands, South East, and London as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on the strategy and disposal of development sites, with a focus on complex brownfield sites.
- Providing commercial input into master planning processes and delivery strategies, covering land assembly, planning, disposal, and procurement.
- Contributing to property demand and feasibility studies to assess and shape the deliverability of development, regeneration, and repurposing projects.
- Conducting research on residential and commercial property markets to inform market reports and broader insights.
- Producing development appraisals and viability reports for public and private sector clients to inform development and delivery strategies, determine grant funding requirements, or support planning viability assessments.
- Assisting in the procurement and structuring of development agreements and partnerships.
- Supporting advisory work on the design, management, and delivery of regeneration projects.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven ability to handle complex client instructions.
- Strong client relationship-building and networking skills.
- Technical competence in relevant areas.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry sector, with specific South West experience beneficial but not essential.
