Associate Surveyor - Valuation

£60k - £70k plus car allowance/bonus
Our client is a highly respected commercial and residential property consultancy with a national presence and an outstanding reputation for delivering expert property advice across the UK. Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Associate Surveyor to join their Valuation team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious valuation professional to work with a broad range of prestigious clients, delivering high-quality valuation and advisory services across the commercial property sectors. The Role
As an Associate Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and detailed property valuations for a variety of purposes, including sales, acquisitions, leasing, investment and insurance. You will also provide strategic advice, prepare technical reports and feasibility studies, and support the continued growth of the valuation service offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional valuation advice to clients and colleagues across a wide range of property sectors.
- Prepare, review and quality-check valuation reports and technical documentation to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Remain up to date with relevant legislation, RICS standards and market developments.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Lead and contribute to securing new instructions through effective internal and external collaboration.
- Share knowledge and expertise to support wider business objectives and team development.
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- MRICS qualification with a strong understanding of RICS valuation standards and competencies.
- Proven experience within a property valuation role.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
