Our client, a highly respected property consultancy, is seeking a RICS-qualified Commercial Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join its growing Commercial Valuations team in Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified surveyor through to Associate level, offering exposure to a diverse range of commercial property valuations across Cambridge and the wider Eastern region.
The role is ideally suited to an ambitious individual looking to further develop their valuation career within a collaborative and highly regarded team, while building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional professional advice.
Based from the firm's flagship Cambridge office (minimum two days per week), you will work closely with established teams across commercial, planning and development, and rural property disciplines. The office environment is professional, supportive and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, professional development and social engagement.
- Undertake property inspections and site assessments.
- Conduct planning and statutory investigations.
- Analyse company trading information where appropriate.
- Review and interpret leases, development agreements and option agreements.
- Prepare valuation reports and development appraisals.
- Support the delivery of large-scale valuation projects, including work for public sector and educational clients.
- Contribute to business planning initiatives and continuous improvement of internal systems and processes.
Post-qualification experience within commercial property valuation (preferred).
A strong understanding of commercial property markets and valuation methodologies.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
