We are working with a well-established independent property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Chartered Building / Property Surveyor to join its team. This is a home-based role, with survey work focused predominantly across Hampshire. The position has been created due to sustained demand and offers a high degree of autonomy, flexibility and long-term career opportunity.
The role is primarily focused on residential surveying, with flexibility to tailor the workload to suit the successful candidate's strengths and preferences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out residential building surveys and HomeBuyer Reports
- Inspecting properties and identifying building defects, maintenance and repair issues
- Producing clear, accurate and well-structured survey reports for private clients
- Communicating findings professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Managing your own diary, instructions and workload end-to-end
There is also scope for candidates to broaden into other types of surveying or property work over time, should they wish.
