Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected independent property consultancy to recruit a Commercial Property Agent / Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful commercial property team and work across a broad range of commercial property instructions. Whilst the role is primarily focused on commercial agency, there is also exposure to lease advisory matters and the opportunity to gain valuation experience where appropriate.
The position would suit a commercially minded property professional looking to broaden their experience and develop into a well-rounded surveyor within a supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
About the Role
Working as part of an established commercial team, you will advise landlords, occupiers, developers and investors across a range of property matters throughout Kent and the South East.
The role will involve:
- Acquisitions, disposals and lettings across the office, industrial, retail and development sectors.
- Advising clients on commercial property opportunities.
- Undertaking inspections, viewings and market appraisals.
- Preparing marketing strategies, property particulars and promotional material.
- Negotiating lease and sale transactions through to completion.
- Preparing Heads of Terms and liaising with solicitors throughout the transaction process.
- Building and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Assisting with rent reviews, lease renewals and other lease advisory instructions.
- Working closely with wider surveying and property management teams.
- Potential exposure to valuation work depending on experience and interest.
